Feather and Black are one of the high streets leading stores selling high quality bedroom furniture and linens.
The role of E-Commerce Manager will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the IT Manager.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Working with the Marketing Manager to build effective website and marketing strategy.
• Ensuring the site attains and maintains a look and feel online, inspired by brand creative with standout against competitor set.
• Understanding and analysing visitor figures and traffic drivers for our and competitors websites.
• To review the current site and resolve any areas where we are not currently delivering the best offering and to plan ahead for growth. Periodically review competitor's sites for emerging trends and suggest response.
• To work with other Heads of Department to understand the current promotions in store and future developments. To work with Marketing Manager to ensure the online presence is reflected in store and to assist the Marketing team in delivering any images for press requirements. Making sure that online content is compelling, accurate and up to date. This will be managed through an understanding of best practice for web design, the tools and technologies that are being used, and what engages customers to browse and shop online. To work closely with the IT Manager regarding the technical side of the web site and integration of computer software and programs.
The Candidate
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a retail online environment.
• Strong analytical skills; able to review and interpret data and statistics to deliver proposals based on findings.
• Bias for action; a fast learner and happy working as part of a small team and able to act on own initiative.
• Effective prioritisation; able to work well, even under short deadlines.
• Committed to delivering high quality work with excellent attention to detail.
Proven track record in driving revenue growth online.
