Title: Team Leader
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

This worldwide insurance company is seeking a Team Leader to join their Assistance department on a flexible shift basis.

The Role:
You will supervise and co-ordinates activities of the Assistance Co-ordinators engaged in handling emergency travel assistance cases and to support the Assistance Manager as and when required.

Main duties:
You will monitor service representatives on products, services and company policies to ensure compliance and competence, computer audits for accuracy, performance and correct billing, compile work volume statistics and to keep records of customer service requests and complaints, new employees training, mentoring, case auditing and supervision.

You will also support the Assistance Department in creating a motivational and supportive working environment by conducting 1:1's & 6/12 month appraisals to consistently meet contracted SLA's.

Who we're looking for:
The ideal candidate will have previous call centre experience within insurance, ideally medical experience but not essential. You will need excellent telephone and computer skills, the ability to analyse cost comparisons, have strong problem solving abilities, and the ability to find solutions in situations where no previous precedent exists and the ability to work in stressful situations. Be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct and manage ongoing quality assurance initiatives effectively. You will also need to act as a role model of professionalism in integrity, motivation and flexibility.

A second language would be desirable but is not essential.

The hours are 37.5 a week on a flexible shift pattern on a three week rota basis between 7am - 8pm Monday - Sunday
