My client is an established manufacturer based in the Portsmouth area that is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

• Warehouse experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of SAP Inventory Management/data base systems
• Track record in efficient Stores Management 
• Experience of working with Global Shipments and receipts 
• Record-keeping, methodical reporting and time management  

Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-

• Effectively manage dedicated logistics support to achieve target goals and performance.
• Ownership of process and management of loads and delegated responsibilities 
• Maintenance and management of key SAP data with regards material movements 
• Create reporting measures for performance to picking/receipt schedules Undertake detailed investigations for stock discrepancies and report on trends and resolutions. 
• Enabling balance between removal of backlog issues and planning for successful achievement on future Orders
• Ensure picking schedules are maintained and/or improved 
• Effective "push" processing of outgoing supply demands through the warehouse process, to defined Due Dates 
• Deliver continuous improvements in warehouse material movements.
• Develop and implement formal work instructions for internal supply chain transactions – Create an effective and business focused working relationship with key internal customers 
• Instil a working discipline and effective team structure in each warehouse location and supervise the efforts of 
• Identify competencies and training requirements required within the department to ensure an efficient team (Be involved the Appraisal process into the Warehouse) 

The annual salary is £30k+ per annum including a contributory pension scheme.
