Dynamite Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic employer in the Portsmouth area who are looking to recruit a PHP Web Developer to join the team.

You will be part of the team responsible for the up-keep and development of specific I.T. related projects. Your main responsibilities will be building and maintaining PHP based apps.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Candidate who has PHP development experience (Will be expected to demonstrate this in a practical test during initial interview).

Required to build and maintain web apps powered by PHP, jQuery, and Javascript.

Candidate should be comfortable with various approaches and frameworks such as Symfony, CakePHP, Zend or equivalent.

Candidate should be comfortable using 3rd party API's, and be able to work with external companies to get projects delivered.

Candidate should be comfortable working with CLI tools in the LAMP stack

Able to work as a part of a team

Additional Skills (desired but not essential):

Continuous Integration

Unit Testing

CakePHP

MVC Coding methodology

Experience with source control preferable but not essential
