We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Team Leader for one of our top clients based in Portsmouth.
The main purpose of this role will be to be responsible for the Accounts Team to ensure that processes are accurate and timely.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage the Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger and ensure all issues are resolved
* Provide accurate reporting information to the Finance Team
* Manage the Accounts Team to ensure that the accounts processes are followed in a timely and accurate manner
* Provide accurate reporting information to the Finance Team
* Manage supplier and customer relationships and processes
* Ensure that the accounts team is motivated and developed
* Monitor compliance to the authorisation policy
* Manage the main BACS run
The ideal candidate will have good management skills, be organised and customer focussed. Good understanding of accounting procedures and previous experience of working in a management team and with accounts payable/receivable.
This is a full time permanent role, with a salary between £25k-£30k depending on experience.
