My client is looking for full or part qualified Vet Nurses who wish to work away from the practice in an office environment working for an established and growing insurance company in Portsmouth, dealing with all aspects of pet insurance.

As a claims handler your duties will include:

• Liaising with veterinary surgery's, breeders and affinity partners
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Approving & settling claims in a timely manner
• Incoming calls from policy holders with general enquiries regarding policy benefits and quotations
• Technical referrals & decisions about exclusions/ endorsements

Remuneration Package:

• £15,000 – £20,000
• 35 hours per week (Part Time will be considered also)
• Monday - Friday, shift work between 8am and 6pm, with Saturday working on a rota basis
• Company pension

The ideal candidate will have either a RCVS Vet Nursing part 1/2 or a NVQ 2/3 in Vet Nursing with an eye for detail and a passion for providing excellent service.
