We are currently recruiting for an Export Control Officer to join an impressive and growing international based aerospace organisation. This is a permanent role and you will be responsible for managing the import and export process for the company.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment (preferably Aerospace).
• To have a clear understanding of ITAR & EAR Regulations and UK Dual Use & Military export regulations.
• To have a thorough knowledge of HMRC tariff codes
• Excellent communication skills both verbally & written
• Experience in Export Licences, Export control compliance & documentation
• Knowledge of ERP systems

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:-

• Implementing and ensuring compliance to UK and US Import/ Export Control Regulations.
• Providing advice on Import/ Export Control related queries
• Generating and revising processes and procedures specific to handling of Import/ Export Controlled materials.
• Carrying out assessments and audits to ensure the areas are compliant with Import/ Export Control processes & procedure.
• Conducting Import/ Export Control compliance investigations in house and at suppliers.
• Maintaining accurate and appropriate documentation to ensure Import/ Export compliance.
• To be the first point of contact for all HMRC customs issues.
• Controlling the applications for export licences process.
