The Faculty of Technology is looking for a General Assistant to provide a range of services to technology staff and students. The duties will include the maintenance of the faculty inventory, update of the fixed asset register; and provide a goods inward and a delivery service to all buildings within the faculty.
Additionally the post will assist with reception duties and will be expected to deal with queries from students, staff, visitors and members of the public.
Applicants must have experience of undertaking a wide range of duties and have excellent customer service, knowledge of office procedures and good IT skills with an understanding of inventory and spreadsheets.
Training in all aspects of the job will be provided.
Working hours must cover 12-2pm daily; hours around this can be more flexible and is open to some negotiation if necessary.
