Fixed Term Contract 3 Years
We are looking for a person to join our repairs and maintenance teams with good building surveying knowledge. Any relevant surveying experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, good communicators, display attention to detail and be keen to develop their building surveying skills. You will supported and have opportunities within the teams to gain more surveying experience whilst working towards becoming chartered with the RICS as a professionally qualified building surveyor.

We are committed to helping you develop and gain Chartered Membership of the RICS by providing a structured Graduate programme to help you become a professionally qualified building surveyor.
At the start of your Graduate programme you will be allocated your own projects that you will lead and be responsible for the initial evaluation, surveys, developing the design and specifications, procuring of contractors and acting as contractor administrator for the works on site.
As you progress through the Graduate programme the range and complexity of projects you are allocated will support your development and will culminate with a suitable project for your critical analysis.
Upon successfully completing your APC there are excellent opportunities within PCC for career progression in a Building Surveying role. In addition to a competitive salary we provide 26 days annual leave in addition to public holidays, provide flexible working arrangements and the option to join the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
