The current vacancy is at Connors Keep, a Category 2 Sheltered Housing Scheme in Wecock Farm. You will be working each day from Monday to Friday, with regular morning shifts amounting to 18.5 hours per week.

As a Support Assistant, you will provide residents with general support with daily tasks and occasional shopping. You will arrange for property repairs and liaise with Care Agencies, Social Workers, GPs, chemists and families of residents where appropriate.

A typical day will involve calling on residents to make sure they are ok. You will spend time with residents to understand their support needs and document your learning on residents' support plans and updating residents' records at the time as appropriate. You will be expected to deal with any emergencies. On occasions, this may involve dealing with personal care issues. You will also assist the Scheme Manager with ensuring the security of the building.
