The School of Languages & Area Studies requires a technical Learning Resource Officer for 37 hours per week, full –time. The person appointed will work as part of a team providing services to both staff and students using the Learning Resources Centre.  This is a varied and interesting position which includes supporting a range of digital and analogue multi-media equipment (for which training will be given), off air recording and duplication of resource material whilst keeping up to date records of all materials issued.  

Skills required are knowledge of IT/Microsoft operating systems and the ability to use basic audio /visual hardware and software. Applicants will also need to enjoy face-to-face interaction with home and international students.
