We wish to appoint an hourly paid part-time lecturer for fixed-term delivery in Creative Writing (January-May 2015), to teach on strands of the Creative Writing BA degree in the School of Media and Performing Arts. As well as general subject knowledge of Creative and Professional Writing you will need to have specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

·         The Short Story

·         Autobiographical writing

·         Poetry writing

·         Contemporary Fiction

Successful applicants will be expected, as a member of the teaching team, to help in the delivery of units within the relevant subject areas, and this will include marking and verification of assessments where appropriate. Applicants should have a relevant degree, be able to motivate students and work as part of a team.
