An opportunity exists for an experienced individual to join the Marketing & Communications Department as an Education Liaison & Outreach Officer. You will work within a team to deliver activities that aim to interest and inform children about university life in general and the University of Portsmouth in particular. The main focus of this role will be to work proactively with primary schools particularly in Portsmouth and SE Hampshire.

The successful applicant will have knowledge of the UK school and college system, Widening Participation and Higher Education, a degree and preferably a qualification working with children. You must be prepared to work some evenings, travel locally and stay away from home occasionally.  A full clean driving licence will be an advantage.
