The University of Portsmouth is seeking a new Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Construction Management to join its friendly and vibrant School of Civil Engineering and Surveying.  The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be able to engage, motivate and support students. 

In addition to having the knowledge necessary to teach Construction Management and Building Information Modelling across undergraduate and postgraduate Civil Engineering and Surveying courses, preference will be given to candidates who are also able to contribute to teaching in other Civil and Surveying subjects and who can make an immediate contribution to research and knowledge transfer activities in support of the developing research themes of the School.

The School has an excellent staff-student relationship and healthy undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment to a broad range of fully accredited ICE and RICS courses, supported by good links with industry, practice and the professional institutions.  Full support is provided to develop your academic skills through the APEX Programme and a post-graduate qualification, if required.
