This is a full-time post providing technical support to staff and students in the use of audio-visual, IT and multi-media facilities.  The successful candidate will support the School’s Lead Technician in the monitoring and maintenance of the School’s AV/IT facilities.

Previous experience in the operation and first line maintenance of AV equipment is essential as is a working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.  Equally important are good interpersonal skills to deal with requests in a helpful manner.  The post holder will be based in the School of Social, Historical and Literary Studies but may be required to work on other sites, for example to carry our portable appliance testing, depending on Faculty priorities.
