The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Portsmouth is a dynamic working environment, with a wide range of teaching, research and innovation activities across many subject areas.

The Senior Finance Officer would report to the Faculty Finance Manager and work closely with the Faculty’s Business Associate in helping the Faculty increase its level of business engagement and external income generation through targeted support of key individuals, products and initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of budgetary control and accounting in a large organization and will be confident in using corporate software for finance/computerized accounting systems.  Excellent communication, inter-personal, analytical and IT skills are essential, as are the ability to plan and prioritise work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
