Senior Accountant

£40-£45K Circa.

Full Time, 10 Month Fixed Term Contract

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join one of our top clients based in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and dynamic team.

The Role:

* To work on allocated projects: to investigate, improve, standardize and automate (where applicable) processes within the department particularly in the AR, AP and Bank Ledgers, leading to a more efficient processing environment.
* To document all current processes, identifying process and system improvements, implementing changes including UAT, Parallel run, training and process documentation ensuring that they are completed in line with company policy and that all Tax, SOX and PCI audit and security policies are met.
* The FSSC carries out the processing for 8 countries and you will be expected to standardise processes across all countries, subject to local statutory requirements.
* Documentation of new processes within the ledger teams, including outline process maps and detailed process notes.
* Drafting of appropriate Policy documents
* Management and performance monitoring of respective processes to ensure responsibilities are successfully fulfilled.
* To keep the Senior Finance Management team updated regarding progress and issues.

The Ideal Candidate:

* ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE equivalent
* Proven track record of leading changes through system implantation and process change in a busy, deadline driven finance role.
* Proactive team leader

This role will interview and commence almost immediately so little or no notice period would be ideal!
