Business Development Manager
Portsmouth & South Coast
£20K - £30K (negotiable) + Uncapped Bonus

Due to growth, our client is now looking for a motivated and ambitious Account/Business Development Manager to join their busy sales team. As one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, they have developed an excellent reputation and are looking for a passionate, tenacious and driven candidate to join the team.

The Role:
• Building reputation by identifying targets, making approaches and utilising strong negotiation skills.
• Energetically approach all the channels at your disposal (email, telephone, social media, face-to-face networking and mailings).
• Attending joint meetings and sales pitches with and without a Company Director.
• Identifying and contacting key individuals existing and potential clients on the South Coast to ask for business and to check service levels are being adhered to.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts.
• Use those relationships to generate referral activity.
• Obtain regular feedback for operations team and measure client satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate:
To succeed in this role you'll need to be likeable, confident and have the ability to build a strong, credible and lasting rapport with clients. You'll be target driven and have a relentless passion to succeed.

Experience in the following is preferred but not essential:
• Experience of using Sales Force
• Proven experience in sales and account management, 2 years minimum.
• Proven experience in hitting targets and achieving KPI's.

You will work from our clients' Portsmouth office and you will be expected to attend the offices of numerous clients at their offices on the South Coast.
