A really exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insolvency Paralegal or Legal Executive to join a leading Portsmouth firm; to grow and develop in a busy department, working alongside experienced solicitors. The role will be best suited to applicants with outstanding organisational and time management abilities, and a genuine ability to support a busy litigation team.

About you:

* You will be bright and inquisitive, with some experience of contentious insolvency matters.
* At least one year of previous litigation experience, as well as a good working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules is essential.
* Competent to manage your own caseload and/or assist with the work of the directors within the insolvency department.
* You will also need to be an excellent team player, capable of hitting the ground running with minimal oversight, and keen to learn and make your mark.
* The ideal candidates will have a strong academic and legal background (preferably LPC/Bar graduate, or ILEX (part or full), able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

* You will employed within the Insolvency team working with experienced directors who work closely with the Dispute Resolution team. As both teams develop there may be opportunities to handle other types of dispute.
