The School of Languages and Area Studies of the University of Portsmouth in the UK is seeking part-time hourly-paid tutors for our MA programmes in Translation Studies.

Applicants should have a professional translation background, preferably in a specialist field, and/or experience of teaching translation at advanced undergraduate or postgraduate level.

We are seeking tutors with professional linguistic and translation competence from Russian into native-standard English. The capacity to teach both in classroom and online environments is essential. A postgraduate qualification in translation is desirable.
