The Parochial Church Council (PCC) of St Jude's Southsea wishes to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic leader for our popular nursery school who can maintain the high standards of care and education. St Jude's Church Nursery is wholly owned by the PCC who are the employers of all staff engaged to work at the Nursery School.

The nursery has a distinctive Christian ethos supported by staff, PCC and members of St Jude's Church. We are looking for an inspirational Nursery Manager who will: Support, nurture and develop our caring Christian community and ethos; Be committed to the educational and social development of every child in the school; Provide effective leadership and day to day management of the setting, on behalf of the PCC and in line with the vision and strategy of St. Jude's Church Southsea; Provide a secure, friendly, responsive, flexible and effective childcare service meeting the needs of the local families for the delivery of the highest quality education and care; Demonstrate Christian faith Be passionate about children's safety and welfare; Be qualified to NVQ level 3, Btec or equivalent.
