A progressive independent law firm for businesses based in Portsmouth and the surrounding region are looking to recruit an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor.

About you:

• The candidate's role will involve working in the Dispute Resolution team assisting experienced directors and running their own caseload.
• Previous experience in a general civil/commercial litigation practice is essential (at least two years, preferably more).
• The role is to handle a caseload of small claims and some multi-track cases relating to contracts, torts, property (boundary, rights of way, etc.) constructive trusts, some shareholder and construction/developer disputes, etc.
• The role will be best suited to applicants with considerable ability and experience in handling a broad range of litigious matters; with good client management; organisational and time management abilities. A sound working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules is also essential.
• In addition to the above, the ideal candidates will have a strong academic and legal background, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• They will also need to be excellent team players, capable of hitting the ground running with minimal oversight, and keen to develop themselves and the team, and to make their mark in this up-and-coming business.
