We are currently recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder who has been previously coded or worked to ASME IX or EN 287 standards to join a Prestigious Global Manufacturing company based on the south coast in the Portsmouth Area. The role will entail TIG Welding a variety of materials including Stainless steel and Aluminium to very high quality on thickness down to 0.5mm.

The role is a contract to permanent position and the client is looking for skilled people who are looking for a career within the company.

Candidates will require the following skills and experience:-

– TIG Welding to a very high standard.

– Previously coded to EN 287 and/or ASME IX (Group 8 Stainless Steels specifically) in TIG (GTAW) process.

– Read a drawing

– Fabrication experience using hand tools and machines to cut and shape materials.

– Weld the parts in the flat and/or vertically positions (PC or 2G).

This role is on a Temp – Perm basis.
