Are you looking for a part time Accounts role that can fit around your other commitments? We are currently looking for a part time accounts person to work 25 hours per week to cover Jo who is going on maternity leave. Jo has been with the company for 8 years and is taking a year off to have her 2nd child which is due in May 2016. She currently works 9.30am-2.30pm over 5 days so ideally the person taking up this role will be able to do the same. She would like to do a handover so you would preferably start early April 2016.

The company offer PCB Assembly, Testing and Repair facilities to customers worldwide and were set up nearly 25 years ago by the current Directors, Mike and Tony. Since then, the company has forged a formidable reputation in the industry, with a unique commitment to customer service excellence, consistency and attention to detail. This role will be working in a small office with Julie who has worked for the company for over 10 years. Julie's role is to provide administration support and process orders whilst you will be carrying out the accounts administration side of things.

What will you be doing?

Your main role will be to carry out accounts duties for the company. These include using Sage L50 to process invoices, VAT returns, control petty cash, process sales & purchase ledgers, credit control and month end reconciliations. As this is to cover maternity leave you will need to have used Sage before to carry out a similar role.

As the company has only around 20 employees you will have to help out from time to time so other duties will include answering the phone, meeting & greeting visitors, providing refreshments for meetings and helping July out from time to time with general admin duties.

The salary for this role is £20000 to £23000 per annum pro rata (according to experience), there is also free parking, kitchen area with tea & coffee facilities and its near to local shops should you wish to pop out & grab some lunch.
