Band 7/ Experienced Band 6 - OT/Physio/Nurse
A unique opportunity has arisen for a 6 month secondment within the Portsmouth element of the Clinical Advisory Team. The team is based with Millbrook Healthcare at Railway Triangle, providing education, training and specialist advice and support to health and social care colleagues in the areas of: Posture Management, Moving and Handling, Pressure Relief and Equipment for Independence across all age groups. The secondment aims to support the reduction in spend on equipment across Portsmouth by reviewing clinical prescription, providing advice on alternative provision and completing joint assessments with caseholders, to ensure appropriate prescription. This will involve clinical visits off site, therefore access to appropriate transport is essential.
The successful candidate will have experience in all clinical areas, knowledge and understanding of the prescription of equipment and the legislation that accompanies this. Paediatric experience would be beneficial but not essential. In return you will receive regular supervision and training from a team of clinical experts.
