An opportunity has arisen for two Summer Playscheme Workers within a charity based in Portsmouth. The Roberts Centre enjoys a reputation for its work with families and children and has achieved national recognition for its high quality services in the areas of Homelessness, Parenting and Childcare.

The Roberts Centre charity has a reputation for developing innovative and effective services to support vulnerable people, families and children who are struggling to improve their difficult circumstances whether from homelessness, debt, tenancy issues or family breakdown in Hampshire. 2 x Summer Playscheme Workers - Seasonal Employment (5/6 weeks) Salary: Equivalent to £14,211 per year Hours: 35 hours per week Location: Crasswell Street, Portsmouth

As key members of the summer playscheme, you will deliver activities and assist in the day to day operations of the playscheme. You will build close links with referring organisations and activity providers and ensure the welfare and health and safety of every child and member of the team. This will require previous school or nursery experience, a First Aid Certificate and, ideally, a childcare or youth work qualification.
