It currently comprises 34 members of staff. Many members of staff are professionally qualified and the School has strong links with the legal profession and with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
The School of Law is an established provider of undergraduate and postgraduate law degrees and has a growing reputation for the breadth of its clinical legal education. We have a thriving and supportive research culture that will encourage the successful candidate to pursue their research ambitions.
We have a position at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level and applications are invited from candidates with expertise in commercial law. The ability to teach a range of the foundation subjects would also be desirable. The foundation subjects are:
The School would welcome applications from those who have a track record in research or demonstrable research potential, including those with substantial and recent professional experience. You will be expected to make a contribution to the School of Law’s research profile and knowledge exchange activities, including the growing employability agenda. You will have drive and enthusiasm and an innovative approach to research, learning and teaching. Support to develop teaching skills is available for less experienced staff.
