Our client is looking to add to their team of skilled Project Managers for an interesting and challenging role managing medium to large projects within M&E building services and construction. You would be working with a team of talented, driven, hard working Project Managers.
If you have a background in a relevant area within construction (at supervisory level or above) and have qualifications in project management then this could give you the opportunity to move from a site based role to Project Management.
Your role would see you managing projects from point of order to through completion and overseeing installation, mostly within commercial and industrial markets. You could be managing multiple projects at any one time ranging in value from £5'000 to £1million.
You get to be involved at the very start of the project from conception, visiting clients for initial meetings, managing any technical issues, overseeing design, procurement, manufacture (internal and sub-contractors), expediting, correspondence (contract/commercial), commissioning, all finance/budgeting, and handing over to the client.
This role is predominately based off site, visiting clients and being on site, you will manage projects in and around London but will also cover other areas of the UK.
The starting salary for this role is around £35'000 per annum (negotiable) there is free parking, easy motorway access, a company car, laptop, mobile phone, 22 days holiday per year (rising with service), and a contributory pension scheme. They do have regular salary reviews.

The company is easily commutable from Portsmouth, Southampton, Waterlooville, Chichester, Havant, Fareham, and surrounding areas however you will need your own transport.
Requirements:
You will to need to have experience managing multiple projects within a building services or construction related environment
Prince 2 qualification would be ideal but other qualifications will be considered
Once trained on their products you would be managing a number of medium to large projects from point of order to completion
You will need to be very organised and be able to thrive under pressure as the environment can sometimes get very busy
Must possess excellent communication skills as well as being able to build strong relationships
Able to understand architectural/technical drawings/specifications
A valid UK driving licence is essential
Driven and self-motivated
