By simply providing solutions to the most complex and demanding Direct Marketing projects we have grown rapidly over the past few years and now due to further planned growth over the next three years we are currently looking to recruit two enthusiastic and energetic Business Development Executives.

The role will involve generating new business through pre-existing contacts, managing the diaries for the field reps, obtaining feedback on outstanding quotes and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs.

We are looking for ambitious and experienced individuals that want to grow with the business. The successful people will have a minimum of two years previous successful sales experience, excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written and must be driven to meet and exceed the targets they are set.

Previous experience within the Print and Mail industry would be advantageous although not essential; it is more important to us that we find someone that can help develop the sales strategy and drive the business forward.

The successful candidate will be given comprehensive training and support. The position will be based in Farlington, Portsmouth, and offers an attractive, competitive salary, together with excellent working conditions.

Skills and qualities needed:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written
  • Positive attitude and well presented
  • Ambitious, driven and keen to meet and exceed targets
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently
  • Able to adapt and work well in a fast paced, changing environment

Daily tasks:

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate sales opportunities
  • Make telephone calls to existing and prospective customers (outbound)
  • Manage the diaries of the field sales reps effectively to generate visits and leads.
  • Obtain feedback on outstanding quotes.
  • Tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Follow up all enquiries and sales leads providing the service our current and new clients expect to receive.
  • Input into the Sales Strategy.
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services as required.
