We are currently recruiting for a number of Collections Agents to work for a Financial Services company. The company is a specialist in their field and have a modern office near Southampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Collections Agent, Customer Accounts Advisor, Customer Collections Advisor or experienced Customer Service Advisor who is looking to build their career with a company that is going places. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of debt recovery and negotiating payment plans via the telephone and applications will be considered from the following sectors: Utilities, Finance, Insurance, B2B, Credit Control & Debt Management Agencies. Candidates with good solid call centre experience will also be considered. You will be responsible for the recovery of debt from customers with overdue accounts and arranging appropriate action suited to the individual needs of the customer. This could be setting up payment plans or managing arrears.
This role is set in an inbound and outbound call centre environment and you will need to have high levels of customer service. You will have to be assertive yet empathetic to a customer's situation.
Please note the standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week and the rostered hours will be rotating Monday Friday, hours between 7:30am – 2pm & 2pm - 9:00pm with 2x Saturdays a month.
