Your job will be working for a successful precision engineering company located in Havant who currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced CNC Miller & Programmer (Fanuc) for their day shift to be involved in exciting and interesting work within a fast paced industry. Much of the work they do is small batch or one off's, therefor the products and components you will be manufacturing will be changing, preventing your job from becoming tedious.

You will be programming CNC Miller (Fanuc) manufacturing high quality products for the Automotive and Motorsport industries. You will be working for a well-established and extremely successful company offering stability and opportunities for training.

Your job:

For you to work at a company of this level, you will need to have extensive Fanuc CNC programming experience with CNC Miller/ Lathes. Of course, being a programmer you will also be able to set and operate the CNC Mills. Your job here will require you to work without supervision to tight tolerances, and being able to quality check your own working using various hand measuring tools would be highly advantageous. This is because your job will be producing interesting products on your new machines for the Aerospace/ Nuclear/ Medical industries. Working to these tight tolerances will improve both the accuracy and quality of your work.

Your package:

You will be employed on a straight permanent basis in Havant, and would be paid circa £15 per hour depending on experience, which working your normal hours (excluding overtime) would equate to a salary around £42,000. This core working hours are 8:00am-6:00pm Monday- Friday, and 7am-11am Saturday. There is also the opportunity to work overtime which is paid at time and half.
