This post is based in the award winning University Library in Ravelin Park. We are a busy, single-site, 24/7 service, recently awarded CSE accreditation, with consistently above sector average satisfaction rates in the NSS and excellent staff survey results.
As part of the Library Management Team you will play a major part in the implementation of Library strategy in support of the University’s ambitious Strategic Plan for 2015-20. In particular your role will:
· Lead the User Services Team which provides a comprehensive Circulation Service and Reception Desk function
· Contribute to the development of systems to support stock circulation and building access
· Lead the working group to manage our ongoing CSE accreditation
To be successful in the role you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead a large team of staff. You will need to have excellent time management skills and the ability to problem solve. A strong customer focus is essential as is previous experience of working in a library environment.
