The School of Creative Technologies at the University of Portsmouth aims to be at the forefront of cutting edge technologies in the Creative & Cultural Industries, covering Computer Games, Animation, Film, Television & Broadcasting, Music & Sound and Web/Mobile Applications in a vibrant, entrepreneurial, very well-resourced, cross-disciplinary environment.
We are aiming to recruit a new member of Academic Staff
The successful candidate will be joining a highly successful team delivering BSc Television & Broadcasting and BSc Broadcast Journalism and across the range of our course portfolio and will be active in developing new curricular areas related to broadcasting. In particular, they will be teaching current professional industry-level practice and technologies in broadcasting within various environments - Outside Broadcasting, Multi-Camera TV Studio Production, Radio and Broadcast news. The ability to work as part of a team and flexible working patterns are essential. A strong research record and/or equivalent industrial background are also essential. A significant contribution to employability and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level is also essential.
