Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) operates our data centres, networks, server, desktop and software platforms. In our modern and highly resilient environment we provide the software, hardware and operating system platforms on which the University heavily depends on.

As a Desktop Analyst you will be involved in a variety of tasks including creating and testing software packages for controlled distribution to University machines, software licensing control and building and testing Windows operating system installations.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in project based work that includes desktop virtualisation and Windows operating system upgrades.

A good knowledge of enterprise class services, particularly around the desktop and software distribution tools will be desirable to fully realise the potential of this role. You will ideally have experience of working in a busy and technically demanding environment, under supervision of senior team members.

You will be joining a dedicated group of engineers who have a passion for delivering enterprise class IT solutions. You will be trained, supported and developed within the role.
