It is an exciting time for the Business Analysis team at the University of Portsmouth with a portfolio of both large and small projects, together with discrete pieces of analysis work. Some of the larger projects include the replacement of our Student Record system and the introduction of a CRM system. In addition there are a number of other IT enabled business change projects which will deliver agreed benefits to support the University strategy; the business analysis team is critical to the successful delivery of these.
In order to meet these demands we are looking for two assistant business analysts. The role offers a range of opportunities, working with project teams to gather requirements and produce process documentation, and working with business teams and end users to assist in the facilitation of workshops and to configure, test and implement new systems.
You will be logical in thought work in a methodical manner and have an eye for detail. You will have some experience of reviewing processes and working with stakeholders outside your immediate team. You will be adaptable in your approach to finding solutions while able to follow instruction from the project manager or other business analysts. You will be eager to learn, respond well to working under pressure and enjoy being part of a team responsible for identifying new opportunities which different projects may bring.
