The Strawford Centre is looking for 2x full time Support Workers to join our team. Are you looking for a rewarding job where no two days are the same? Do you want to be part of a team that supports people to achieve their goals and dreams? We specialise in providing person centred day activities and support to adults with learning disabilities.

As a Support Worker you will be assisting people with learning disabilities with all aspects of their daily life through the provision of outcome based activities that promote independence and community engagement whilst enabling them to develop and/or maintain daily living skills whilst attending to their physical, social, mental and emotional needs, safety and wellbeing. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required in order to provide advice and guidance to a range of customers.

Experience of working with people with learning disabilities is preferable but not essential as a full induction and training will be given.
