Through the Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help System, we will work with children, families, and young people to help ensure that every child, family and young person is supported to achieve his or her potential. The foundations for future mental health, emotional control, intelligence and parenting ability are all set in place in the early years and the home surroundings, family life and parenting are all important factors in determining positive outcomes for children in the future.

The Leaving Care service provides support for Care Leavers and Young People in Care aged 16-21 and up to 25 in some circumstances.

The purpose of the role is to lead the leaving care service, a component part of IPEH. The main function of the role is to work with individual young people, who are leaving the care of the Local Authority, helping to assess and meet their learning, personal and social needs. To assist them in making the transition between care and independence and to make positive choices about their lives in particular education, training and employment.
