The Company
Bounce Foods Limited markets a nutritious snack food brand – Bounce Energy Balls. Bounce is based Guildford with a mission to inspire positivity in the way people eat, think & live – through great nutrition, leading an active lifestyle and being mindful and caring of others. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and as a result, is expanding their operations and product range.
The Project
The challenge in this project will be to enable Bounce Foods Limited to develop innovative and industry leading packaging that will be smarter, multifunctional, & sustainable, with integrated market intelligence capture & display, suitable for the transportation of Bounce Foods’ products, enabling product diversification and generating further growth.
The new packaging development capabilities to be established within Bounce through this project will enable the company to improve and increase the sales of their existing products, whilst enabling them to bring new products to the market that require innovative new packaging.
You will be joining a small friendly team based at the company in Guildford, Surrey. In the role you will be actively supported by knowledge transfer specialists, with expertise in innovation and manufacturing, from the University of Portsmouth. The project is jointly funded by Bounce Foods Limited.
The role
This is an exciting opportunity open to a master level degree in either; packaging, product development, innovation, industrial design, or related area. The post will provide the individual with an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the company’s new product innovation and growth, through the development of new packaging. It will also offer a range of experience and exposure to senior management, and communication throughout the supply chain.
The successful applicant be highly motivated and able to demonstrate some previous successful experience in a relevant role. The success of this project could lead to the opportunity of a management position at the company.
