Rehabilitation & Reablement Assistant

Salary: £16,203 - £17,270 pro rata plus a 17% enhancement for working unsocial hours.

26.8 hours per week - which will include early, late and weekend shifts.

Based at the Victory Unit, you will assist service users to meet their social and physical rehabilitation goals working to individual care and rehab plans. As well as assisting with the administration of medication you will enable service users to achieve skills for independent living, which may involve moving and handling.

You will require an understanding of the needs of the older people and people with physical disabilities as well as the ability to be patient and to sensitively assist service users to maintain their independence.
