Due to an expanding workload West Sussex County Council’s Commercial Legal Team is recruiting a senior solicitor to join an existing team of seven lawyers dealing with a wide range of innovative and challenging commercial, contractual and public procurement matters.

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience (or possess an equivalent qualification and experience) working in local government or private practice. This challenging role will require an individual with the capacity to manage a complex caseload. You will need to demonstrate an ability to produce high quality work with the ability to provide complex advice aligned to the needs of your clients and the political objectives of the organisation.
