We are currently seeking a Senior Lecturer in Data Science to join the Business School. You will be required to teach a broad range of topics and technologies associated with the collection, curation, manipulation, analysis and presentation of information gathered from large data sets from a diverse range of resources. This will include teaching on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, there may also be the opportunity to contribute to other related programmes dependent upon your areas of expertise.
You will have a good, relevant undergraduate degree with further professional or academic qualifications at Masters level and you will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of relevant applications and technologies. You will be a skilled teacher with the ability to enthuse and motivate students particularly in the areas of software development languages, database environments and the practical applications of data science and analytics solutions.
