A RF Design Engineer is needed at a large engineering company working on amplifier design and evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of working in a support role working on
Derivation and / or use of s-parameters for amplifier design.
Amplifier design at component (i.e. single stage) level.
Multi-stage amplifier design including calculation of gain, linearity and DC power budgets.
Amplifier design at equipment level.

Skills

HNC / HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with RF / Microwave design content
Hands on knowledge working on the measurement of amplifier characteristics using industry standard test equipment.
The candidate will have demonstrable industrial knowledge connected with amplifier design and evaluation.
Knowledge of manual tuning to optimise amplifier performance would be an advantage.
