I am a hardworking, intelligent sales person and have spent my working life in sales and recruitment in Portsmouth. I have become very knowledgeable in all aspects of recruitment in Portsmouth as well as developing a strong ability to increase business and close sales. Having held several branch manager roles in Portsmouth I am also experienced in staff management. I am keen to embrace a new challenge in recruitment in Portsmouth. I am very good with computers and find I take quickly to any package presented to me.

My main responsibilities in this challenging role include establishing relationships with Portsmouth companies, as well as companies further afield, maintaining a great working knowledge of opportunities in Portsmouth and recruitment in Portsmouth and ensuring the smooth running of my branch through effective management of my team. Our key focus is Portsmouth recruitment which I think that I have aided by making sure that I attend local networking events and conferences. I have been able to drastically increase our Portsmouth business as well as business as a whole. My best achievement has been to establish a relationship with Portsmouth City Council / Hampshire County Council / Southsea Town Council. We have been able to fill these public sector jobs very effectively.

During my time here we specialised in temporary recruitment in Portsmouth. I was responsible for a team of 6 making sure they remained motivated and effective. I put in place achievable targets and a reward scheme to increase staff morale. I also established good relationships with Portsmouth businesses in order to aid with their temporary recruitment in Portsmouth.

I started as a trainee consultant and in just 2 years advanced to a senior consultant position. It was during my time here that I gained knowledge about recruitment in Portsmouth and undertook a great amount of training including the legal and regulatory aspects of recruitment, managing staff skills and sales. I was also consistently the top sales person for my branch.

This was my first position after leaving my education and I started as a junior in the telesales department and rose to the position of senior advertising sales executive. My key responsibilities included maintaining relationships with Portsmouth companies in order to receive their recruitment advertising.
