IT - MIGRATION SPECIALIST

My client based on the outskirts of Portsmouth (near Portchester) has started a huge project transferring/ migrating data to a new platform and they are now looking for a Migration Specialist to join their team.

Then role
You will be supporting customers with every step of their migration to a new control panel, the customers must be prepared, all their records transferred and any relevant services upgraded to equivalent.
You will be required to deal with customer enquiries throughout the process, provide technical expertise and handle any problems the migration may cause.
This is a very fast paced and high level direct customer contact role.

The Person
My client is looking for somebody who has previous project experience and someone who has dealt with the migration of data (using excel) in a previous role.
Help desk or Service desk experience would be an advantage.
Direct technical skills are a requirement of the position as you will be dealing with the technical teams and customers.

You must have a good understanding of technical terminology.
