IT Systems Maintenance Coordinator

Greenwood Plants are suppliers of plants, shrubs and trees for landscape contractors supplying new build sites and property developments. Greenwood have four sites across the UK, two of which are in Sussex with the main dispatch site in Aldingbourne (5 miles outside of Chichester). The business is in an exciting period of growth and are leading the way in the industry by introducing new technologies to make their clients lives straight forward. 
 
Greenwood now require an IT Systems Maintenance Coordinator to join the small friendly team to maintain the nursery system used internally for handling the dispatch, operations and stock control functions and keep the system tidy and organised and also coordinate our own application called 'The Tender Tool' which customers use to receive real time quotes, place orders and track real time deliveries and be the 'champion' and go to person for both internal and external stakeholders.
 
The roles will consist of:

• Updating and inputting stock batches on system, including attaching batch photographs

• Creating 'selections' of stock as lists within the system for clients to order from and for the marketing dept to send to clients

• Acting as a System support contact for large national Customer Accounts using The Tender Tool

• Work with our Software developers on new product/feature development and coordinate any trials of new software as appropriate.

• Rectify and troubleshooting system and app issues as and when they come up

• Promote use of the Tender Tool app to potential clients

• Oversee barcode scanning implementation over next 12 months 

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of IT systems and software development, specific training for internal systems will be given

• Customer service background and strong customer focus

• Ability to learn new technologies and methods quickly and to communicate technical detail across all levels

• Ability to work on your own initiative and learn new skills

• Positive and enthusiastic team player

• Logical approach to problem solving

• Attention to detail

• Highly reliable and effective time manager

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and interest of plants and various species however this is not essential
