Job Title: Private Rented Sector Coordinator

Reports to: Community Outreach Services Manager

Salary: £24,012pa

Contract: FTC 12 months from 1^st July 2021 – 30^th June 2022

Place of Work: Chichester Day Hub – Chichester District

Hours: 37hrs a week - Flexible – not fixed to Monday-Friday – core hours to be agreed

Stonepillow in partnership with Chichester District Council have secured funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government through the rough sleeper initiative for a specialist Private Rented Sector Coordinator.

This exciting new role has been developed to provide a dedicated resource to clients in Chichester to both secure PRS accommodation, and to support clients in becoming tenancy ready to ensure they are able to successfully maintain accommodation and thrive in their local community.

This role will seek to secure and retain PRS accommodation for those in emergency and temporary accommodation, those rough sleeping or vulnerably housed and those who are in supported accommodation, who are ready to live more independently.

Stonepillow are seeking applications from dynamic individuals who have a passion for provide excellent service to vulnerable clients, combined with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and are able to engage proactively with landlords.

You will be proactive, using your own initiative and be creative in your approach to work. It is essential that you have a non-judgmental and enabling approach to supporting homeless and vulnerable adults and be willing to learn knowledge of health, housing and work issues facing vulnerable clients who have multiple complex needs to live in independence.
