Led by an ambitious research and development strategy, an opportunity has arisen to appoint a 1.0, Lecturer – Forensic Psychology / Criminology, to enable a successful implementation of our academic strategy across our Psychology Programmes as well as the development of further portfolio opportunities.

Ideally, candidates will have a broad range of research methods, knowledge and skills. You must also be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will be committed to ensuring that our students are well supported and enjoy their experience with us.

Candidates for the Lectureship should have a developing track record of research in Forensic Psychology / Criminology which complements current research in the Institute, evidenced by successful independent research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding.

Working with the Psychology and Criminology staff team and students, you will, among other activities, make a key contribution to designing, developing and delivering new and existing undergraduate and post-graduate Psychology programmes. You will also contribute to our vibrant research culture and excellent student learning experience.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and enjoy working as a member of a team.
