We are looking for someone who is looking who is after a new challenge, someone who wants the next step in their career to take them closer to becoming a Quality Manager in the future. We have a Quality Control Team Leader which would manage 6 experienced Quality Inspectors and give you a chance to really make your mark, there are lots of opportunities to improve efficiencies and you would have a lot of autonomy to change processes.

You will be improving processes, overseeing that parts are conforming to client/company standards, changing cultures and determining root cause of non-conformances.

As Quality Control Team Leader, you would work with a dynamic and supportive Quality Manager to improve quality standards and streamline processes. The salary for this role is up to £35000 plus benefits Flexible working hours, a great working environment with a family feel, 5 ½ weeks holiday a year, free onsite gym, contributory Pension scheme, shopping discounts, Child care voucher scheme.

They will also provide training on CMM Programming if this is a skill set you do not currently possess.

What are they looking for?

Passion, potential and drive are some of the key attributes. This would suit an experienced quality inspector/quality engineer who has some exposure to people management/supervising within a regulated manufacturing environment (Electro-mechanical or mechanical) and would love to manage their own team.

You will need to have experience inspecting mechanical or electro-mechanical components/assemblies within a manufacturing / engineering environment. You will obviously need to be confident reading engineering drawings and using basic inspection tools like vernier's, micrometres, etc.

Some knowledge of first article inspection, reporting, and quality/manufacturing processes is essential to be able to carry out CI projects.

You will need to be self-motivated with strong communication skills, as well as having excellent people skills, a diplomatic nature and able to build strong working relationships.
