Goodwood Productions is looking for runners to join its 2024 Festival of Speed team. You will be joining the team responsible for capturing all digital content across the official Goodwood Road & Racing and Festival of Speed channels as well as supporting content for the live stream.
As a runner your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting camera operators and Producers with carrying kit, running media back to the outside broadcast unit and data logging rushes throughout the day.
- Setting up camera gear for various shoots around the event.
- Opportunities to support the camera operators with additional filming/camera angles.
- Helping the Producer look after the team with food and drink orders.
- Running equipment to different areas of the event.
- Supporting the Producer when dealing with interviewees and VIPs.
Skills and desirable attributes:
- An understanding of or enthusiasm for the role. While we don’t expect you to be an expert or have any prior experience, we do ask that you are proactive in learning about cameras and equipment or have a strong desire to work within the video production industry.
- An understanding or interest in motorsport or the Festival of Speed is desirable.
- You can be expected to be filming at various locations around the festival for around 12 hours per day and will be on your feet/on the move quite often.

Working conditions and important notes:
- All runners must be available from Wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th July.
- Call time from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th July will be 7am to 7pm with various breaks between filming.
- Wednesday 10th July is an onsite induction and site walkthrough with briefing and assignment designation (times TBD).
- All runners MUST have a way to get to and from the Festival of Speed site due to limited transport options. Driving is advised but if you can get a lift to and from site this will also work.
- Runners must be 16+ years of age and have a right to work in the UK.
- You must complete a passport verification check, in-person, prior to joining us on site.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, however, due to the nature of the events and the lengths of some of the shifts, we cannot accept applications from people under the age of 16.
