Solent Healthcare was created on 1 April 2010 through the integration of Southampton Community Healthcare and Portsmouth Community and Mental Health Services.The Integrated Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment (IMAT) specialising in shoulder assessments of Solent Healthcare (west) is looking for an additional shoulder clinician. The team consists of an Orthopaedic shoulder surgeon, 2 ESP physiotherapists and a specialist Doctor in orthopaedic medicine.Due to an increasing demand for our IMAT service we are looking for another physiotherapist to join our forward thinking team. This post will give an excellent chance for anyone with an established experience of assessing shoulder disorders to expand their knowledge of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the upper quadrant. The post will be on a session basis and will start with 1 session a week. At present this takes place at the Adelaide Centre in Southampton (this may be subject to change).Hours will be 4 per week (possibility of increase at later date plus excess hours for training etc).The service is committed to CPD and encourages supervision at all levels.
